About Us
Playground Inspired, LLC was founded in May of 2008 by C.M. Stewart and quickly became a Limited Liability Company in June that year. Playground Inspired, LLC is built on the foundation of a strong history and passion for life, people and photography - not only a form of art, but as a personal, visual history to be passed down for many years to come.
C.M. Stewart, CEO of Playground Inspired, LLC, had been interested in photography, among other arts and interests, since she was young. Among her personal effects, one would find years and years of story-telling history in large boxes full of snap-shots and portraiture.
Ms. Stewart's beautiful daughter has been the muse of Playground Inspired, LLC since before the company was formed. Though the love of photography was always present, after the umpteenth trip to a chain portrait studio, for photos to send to family for each Holiday and Milestone, she knew there was a serious need for a change in the business model of chain portraiture.
Why was she spending another three hundred dollars on less than desirable photos? These photos had barely been touched up, never had contrast or color truly addressed and no matter what you planned your appointment around... the timing was never right. Why should we be cutting our photos ourselves? We also know a little secret: it doesn't cost $15.00 to print a quality 8x10 portrait.
Sitting on this knowledge and distaste for common portaiture for months, one day, Ms. Stewart was inspired. After taking photos at the playground, and seeing the true happiness and comfort in every child's face, she knew the answer. Playground Inspired, LLC was dreamt into life at that very moment. It seems almost elementary now - take pictures of real life, and it will be reflected in every photograph, and captured for eternity.
